Usually a comment will be posted immediately, but sometimes my software brings the comment to be moderated if the computer thinks it may be spam. Since I allow commenters to have their comments generally visible immediately, I ask you to not abuse that freedom and to carefully follow the comment policy.  I may change these rules at any time and make its effect retroactive.
